KEiiNO, the Norwegian-Sami trio who won the heart of Europe on Eurovision 2019 with “Spirit In The Sky”, recently released the music video for their third original song “Dancing in the Smoke”. We are here to fall in love with them and their small hints of joik more.
Alexandra Rotan, Fred Buljo and Tom Hugo won the 57th national selection show “Melodi Grand Prix” for the ESC 2019 in Oslo, and represented their country in Tel Aviv, Israel, winning the televoting with no less than 291 points. They were really successful, finishing in the sixth place, which was the best result for Norway in the whole decade.
Following their success, they didn’t take time to rest, releasing “Praying” and a cover of the Swedish Freestyle‘s “Vill ha dig”. Now, the trio returned to their unmistakable style, bringing us another cheerful pop song we can start dancing to.
“Dancing in the Smoke” was written by KEiiNO, Jonas Körper and Ash Hicklin, who all have tried to focus on the theme of climate change. The video itself was shot at “some scenic spots in and around Oslo, Larvik and Stavanger”.
