Rapper 2 Chainz was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night in San Francisco, police have confirmed—although the rapper himself took to Twitter to downplay the incident. According to police, the rapper, born Tauheed Epps, was walking down the street in San Francisco with five members of his entourage when three men, one with a firearm, approached the group. At least one shot was fired, police said. But 2 Chainz didn’t seem too concerned, tweeting, “rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that have been has been taken. Rings, chains, watch, money, etc. 2 answer that question … Rule #2 if a rapper gets shot he usually go to the hospital and dies.” TMZ reported that there is surveillance footage of the robbery, so that should settle things once and for all.
