Video Shows Andrea Bocelli Singing Elvis Beautiful Song, and the Crowd Cheers from His First Word

Acclaimed opera singer Andrea Bocelli took the crowd's breath away with his performance of "Can't Help Falling in Love" in Las Vegas back in 2006. Bocelli was accompanied by master pianist David Foster on the piano. At the time, Foster wooed the audience by saying:

SOLD-OUT CONCERT

Bocelli performed at Las Vegas on a specially built floating stage as part of his "Under the Desert Sky" live album release and tour.

The album included some of his most popular tracks, including "The Prayer," "Somos Novios," "Momentos," and "September Mom."

The DVD includes interviews with Bocelli, his producers, David Foster, and Humberto Gatica, the award-winning Chilean born audio engineer and recording artist.

The album received Platinum certification in Brazil with more than 30 000 sales, as well as Gold certifications in Canada and the United States, with combined sales of 100 000.

ACCLAIMED MUSICIAN

Bocelli received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame nine years ago. In addition, he's also a record holder in the "Guinness Book of World Records."

Musical talent certainly runs in the family, and that was proven when Bocelli performed "Fall On Me" with is 21-year-old son, Matteo.

During his prestigious career, Bocelli performed for Pope John Paul II, just one day after his father Alessandro Bocelli passed away.

STRONG FAMILY TIES

Andrea’s mother Edi encouraged him to honor his commitment. However, he returned home immediately after his performance, to grieve with his family.

Back in February, the father-and-son duo wowed fans at the Sanremo Music Festival in Italy.

One moment in particular that tugged at the fans' heartstrings was when Bocelli wrapped his arm around Matteo during their performance.
